eHealth is a territory-wide electronic sharing platform that allows registered healthcare providers (e.g. hospitals, clinics) in the public and private sectors, with patient’s consent, to view and share the patient’s electronic health records in the course of providing healthcare. eHealth aims to facilitate continuity of care for patients, enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare services and encourage healthcare collaboration between the public and private sectors.
