“i+home” is a “ageing in place” system which adopts Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Main features include: • when abnormalities are detected by the sensors in the kitchen, the elders will be immediately notified to turn off the cooker or a message will be sent to caretakers to call the police • the sensors installed in the bathroom may turn on the ventilation fan, the light, and the U-traps refill automator subject to the situation • the magnetic sensor installed on the door can remind the elders to turn off the cooker before going out. It also records their in-out time to let their children understand their habits and the time of returning home
